The Siena is a floorstanding speaker crafted by the renowned Italian manufacturer Rosso Fiorentino. Its modular design and distinctive aesthetics are enhanced by one of the most sophisticated loudspeaker enclosures ever created by the brand. This design enables the Siena to provide exceptional sound quality while seamlessly integrating into any living space. It is positioned just beneath the flagship model, the Florentina.
Rosso Fiorentino is situated in Florence, Italy. The company merges contemporary technology with sophisticated designs and traditional Italian craftsmanship. The cabinet’s construction has garnered significant attention. The woofers, featuring aluminum cones, and the midrange drivers with paper cones are secured by a vibration-damping system that reduces the transfer of vibrational energy to the baffle. This design element guarantees effective vibration control, leading to robust, precise, and well-defined low frequencies.
The speaker features two distinct sealed enclosures. The upper enclosure is isolated from the lower one using advanced visco-elastic discs, allowing the midrange and tweeter to deliver exceptional clarity and a natural sound experience.
The adaptable trapezoidal top cabinet is engineered to minimize internal standing waves, effectively reducing sound distortions. The cabinet is made entirely from high-density fiberboard (HDF) and is lined internally with state-of-the-art acoustic damping material.
The Siena features a total of five drivers, including a ribbon tweeter, a 28-millimeter silk dome tweeter, a 165-millimeter paper cone midrange driver, and two 200-millimeter aluminum cone woofers.
According to the manufacturer, the frequency response spans from 35 Hz to 100 kHz (with a -6 dB level at 30 Hz). The crossover points are set at 200 Hz, 2.2 kHz, and 30 kHz. The cabinet dimensions are 1,204 x 413 x 466 millimeters (H x W x D), and the Siena has a weight of 68 kilograms.
